Q Overview You will write an analytical paper on a novel of your choice (please do not choose To Kill a Mockingbird or Rule of the Bone, as you will be writing essays on those novels in this course already). This critical paper explores a narrow topic related to the parameters of the course, which means some aspect of loss of innocence. To begin, you will select a novel and complete a thesis statement with an opening paragraph. You will also craft an accompanying PowerPoint presentation to demonstrate understanding of the major themes of their novel as they relate to loss of innocence.
